Policies
*** Please Read Carefully ***
General Scheduling Policy - Students should arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. Students arriving late (15 minutes past the scheduled time) for class may not be admitted. Any cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before class registration dates. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 1rmtgroup@gmail.com or (757) 809-2240.
General Attendance Policy (not including 68 hour course) - Students are expected to attend class regularly and on time. Arriving 15 minutes past the scheduled time is considered an absence. If absences occur, the student and/or scheduler must contact the instructor via phone. The student will be rescheduled with the appropriate training class to make up missed time as it is mandatory to receive all hours for successful completion of the course. The same course may only be rescheduled twice. After the second unsuccessful rescheduling attempt, the class will be dropped with a grade of incompletion and the student will have to re-enroll. There will be no refunds under any circumstance.
Cell Phone Policy - Cell phones must be put away during instruction hours at all times and silenced. Usage of cell phones will be permitted during breaks. If there is a call that must be taken due to an emergent situation, please leave the room quietly to take the call outside of the instructional environment. If this policy is violated once, a verbal warning will be issued. Upon a second violation, the student will be asked to leave the program as distractions must be minimized.
Refund Policy - There will be NO refunds given. If a scheduled course is canceled 24 hours before the scheduled time, the service can be rescheduled or used as credit towards another course. Funds must be used within 60 days of the initially scheduled date.
Cancellation Policy - There will be a $75.00 cancellation/no-show fee if the student cannot make the scheduled course without giving at least 24 hours prior notice. If a class is paid in full and there is a “no show”, $75.00 will be deducted from the balance and the remaining balance can be applied to courses only available at Renaissance. All balances owed must be paid before the next scheduled class date. However, please note that these funds must be used within 60 days of the initially planned date, or they will be forfeited.
Payment Policy - All payments for services must be received 24 hours before all scheduled courses. If payments are not received within the allotted 24 hours before the scheduled class time, the scheduled course will be canceled. Payments WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED on the day of class.
